iiNet goes TransMedia
Media agency Maxus Perth with Creative team Meerkats have been the bodies behind iiNet’s campaign for BoB - the telecommunications new Broadband in a Box product.
The campaign is running over most traditional media But iiNet have placed a considerable amount of faith in Out Of Home advertising. Taking it a step further than AAPT’s saturation of Billboard advertising, they have teamed with JC-Decaux to bring a experiential front to bus stops.

Pictured above is the ‘Plug&Play with B0B now’ advertising effort. A viewer can slip in their earphones to the audio jack integrated into the bus shelter. Unfortunately all that is on offer to them is a 30 second spiel from the un-charismatic face of iiNet - Finn.
Trans-media is alot of fun and I am excited to see Sydney and Brisbane adorn some impressive strides in traditional media innovation the creative message just falls a bit short. The bus shelters might get a little play from consumers interested in the new format but lets just hope when its executed again next we see a stronger audio or maybe even visual message.
